RACHEL ANGEL
Preschool Director
Morá Rachel Angel graduated from the Alberto Einstein Institute in 1975 and began a degree in preschool education at the National University of Panama, while specializing in the Montessori method from 0 to 6 years. She is accredited by NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children) and obtained diplomas in higher education and multiple intelligences. She was trained in TALAM and Creative Curriculum. In 1977 she joined the IAE team as a preschool teacher, implementing the Montessori method. In 1986, she was hired by the US Army as a preschool teacher, kindergarten and special education, receiving 4 medals of excellence. She received the fifth medal as Director of FT Clayton Pre-school, taking care of everything necessary to close the school and deliver the facilities to the government of Panama. In 2000, at the request of Rabbi Sion Levy (ZTLB), she prepared and directed the Talmud Torah Har Sinai as the first religious preschool in Panama. Later, she served as the Director of Costa Kids Pre-school, the Hebrew Academy of Panama and participated as a coach in several schools. She is currently a teacher of pre-school education at the University of Midrashá Horev and in 2011 she joined IAE as Preschool Director, a position she holds to date.
